'Mike Ilett submarine display'
A private collection of equipment and artefacts salvaged from the submarine HMS OTTER and various other submarines arranged in a walk in display in the old school classroom, as seen on tv "collectors lot," and "North Tonight".
This collection is open free of charge, all are welcome, just come in the classroom or knock on the house door.

The Red House or Reids Castle, is one of the best preserved and extensive 19th century crofts remaining in the North Isles. It is undergoing a programme of restoration by the owners who will happily show you around the various buildings including a threshing mill complete with waterwheel, a grain drying kiln, threshing barn, forge and the houses. The Red House café serves lunches, evening meals, afternoon teas or just a cup of good coffee.
Open June 1st to Sept 4th 2010
Tuesday to Friday 10am – 5pm Evening meals by prior booking.
Weekends happily by arrangement.
No charges for tour of croft.
